Latinos de Hoy Awards in Hollywood

myKEEtv captured spectacular moments at this year’s Latinos de Hoy Awards.  The star-studded event in Hollywood attracted some of the most celebrated names in Latino culture. Actress Jaina Lee Ortiz, star of the hit series Rosewood, hosted the event at the Dolby Theatre. The Latinos de Hoy Awards is presented by the Los Angeles Times. It is an annual celebration that recognizes the contributions of Latinos in the entertainment industry. It is marks the culmination of National Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations in Los Angeles.


Among this year’s awardees were; members of the cast of Disney’s Eleana of Avalor. The animated movie was recognized with a Programming Award.  Other honorees were, Enrique Olvera – Culinary Award; Jose Moreno Hernandez , Inspirational Award; Julissa Arce,  Emerging Leader Award; Luis Valdez – Master of the Arts Award; Patty Arvielo,  Business Award; Patty Rodriguez. Cultural Influencer Award; Thomas Saenz, Dolores Huerta Civic Leadership Award; Dan Guerrero , LGBT Award and Edward James Oimos with the Legend Award.
